This is a fantastic newsource if you are wondering what is going on in the Middle East. You won't hear a whisper of this stuff in the major media, as it were. It was on this site, shortly after Saed and Jenka arrived in town, that I found out the Palestinians had a protest in which the dressed like Indians. They are tired of being treated like Indians.

World Travel

I have always wanted to travel the world. As I get older, I see that it will be a dream of mine, but never a reality. That's OK. I have met many world travelers in my lifetime and heard many a wonderful story.

But here, on this blog, with that world map, I see my words get to travel the world. It is kind of odd to me because I don't get to see all your faces, hear a new language and learn a few or a lot of words, see how other peoples live and the diversity within their nations, etc.

I have traveled much of my own little space. I have lived in the Portland, Oregon area for 42 of my 43 years. I have hiked on the Rogue River numerous times as a teenager and loved all of the creeks and trees and loved falling asleep on a large rock formation with another rock as my pillow. One of my favorite places locally is Pahto, aka Mt. Adams. Up there, Rhonda and I picked huckleberries on the non-Indian picking side of the road. My favorite place to camp is Tahk Lahk lake. One time almost two years ago, I hiked up the North face of Pahto and groped a glacier. I saw so many beautiful things, they are too numerous to mention.

Two of my other favorite beautiful things to have seen are hiking around Mt. Jefferson. One was Crystal Mirror Lake. It was so clear that you could see to the bottom at all depths, some places I'd guess more than 10 feet. The water was really cold. And one night we camped by a meadow and I woke up to pee. I went outside my tent and it was freezing cold, and the moon was full hovering in the sky on the opposide side of the meadow, shining an unforgettable luminiscence that I stayed out in the cold for a long time staring before I finally crawled back into my tent and sleeping bag.

The farthest I've been is Florida, which is FLAT. I've been to Canada once, BC, which is also very beautiful.

So, I guess I don't regret not having had the opportunity to travel the world. I get to live vicariously through others for that and through this blog. But I have got to travel rather extensively in my own world, and I Love that!

COMRADESHIP

I think that's it! Rhonda made a comment on my "useless" post, and mentioned community. I think that is what I'm trying to create more so than anything else. A comradeship which seems to be world wide as it is, and a little unnerving not being able to physically see and talk with you all.

After watching "Sicko" which Rhonda downloaded for free and you can find the website to do so on her blog, it is just HEART WRENCHING to see the murderous behavior Americans will put up with and STILL call this shit "freedom." And then you watch folks in other nations with nationalized health care living healthy and happy lives. Sicko is a MUST WATCH. Maybe I'll make a sign and carry it around just for the fuck of it: "HMO's murder more Americans than terrorists! Why aren't we bombing those mother-fuckers?"

I think my favorite part of the movie was when Mike got health care for 9-11 workers who are suffering greatly but not getting health coverage for their health and mental problems since dealing with the falling of the two towers. America won't cover their fucking rescue workers. So, Mike took them to Cuba, where they were not only taken care of, but were also welcomed warmly by the FD there who really wanted to come and help and were prepared to as well. But you all know that America told them to "FUCK OFF," right? That isn't mentioned in the film, though.

Still, life is good! I'm fat, happy, and ready to take off at the drop of a hat. I'm madly in Love with Rhonda Baseler, and I Love my great little, well, not so little any more daughter, Felicia Johnson. And damn it, we all want a better world!

Useless

More than anything, I'm starting to feel useless, or at least this struggle is useless.

I just watched "Sicko," Michael Moore's new film, and I know that if every alleged American was forced to watch that film, still, none of us would be in the streets. I could get out there myself. I could carry a sign no one would read or really give a shit about.

But, you know what, I've lowered my expectations so low as to know that at times...OK, most of the time, it will only be me. Now, of course, Rhonda would be by my crazy side should I choose to do something stupid that would not change anything. So...Two. And it's been that way before. I've been doing this work for 12 years.

Sicko showed that the U.S. health care system is not only unhealthy, but, like I've always suspected, killing numerous women, children, elders. That's right. It is DELIBERATELY committing murder so the bottom line can be bigger for the folks at the top. They ultra elite.

Shit, right now there are U.S. soldiers in Iraq killing men women and children so the ultra elite can get their hands on that oil wealth.

How does one stop this crazy fucking shit? I have pretty much surrendered to the fact that folks in this nation ain't gonna do a thing until the collapse.

People are suffering, dying, being murdered, right here in front of our faces. It's called Health Maintenance Organizations. Not to mention the police, environmental destruction, poisoning our air and water, poisoning our land base, etc.

What does it take to get the masses to stand up and fight? What does it take to get them in the street and scare the fuck out of the CEO's? I have no idea anymore. But I ain't gonna stop writing, either.

Nation State

These folks are considered terrorists. I am NOT kidding. This is a photo of some folks volunteering for "Food Not Bombs," and yes, the United States considers these folks terrorists. I was listening to KBOO this morning, and found out that these folks are, indeed, considered terrorists.

Now think about it, folks. When the alleged security agencies are taking armed struggle against these folks, my sweetie's son, Eli, creating a stand-off with Randy Weaver because he refused to be an informant, creating a murderous stand-off with Karesh and the Waco folks because he wouldn't be an informant and was an arms dealer, and I'm sure so many other examples one can site that I'm not mentioning here; I would have to say that the security agencies seem to be a big fat tax payer ripoff.


Also heard on "Press Watch" with Theresa Mitchell, that every time she checks the stats on global warming, they seem to be increasing at a rapid pace. Almost every time she checks, scientists are stating that it is increasing faster than previously imagined.

So, here we have a nation state calling terrorists folks that have absolutely nothing to do with terrorism. The state also tells us global warming isn't real. The state also murders children worldwide. The state is also committing war crimes and genocide.

Rhonda and I are gonna get back to the land. We'll have a better chance at surviving the impending collapse of the Nation State known as the United States and the destruction that will cause worldwide. We'll have a better chance at helping others that way as well.

Armed Struggle 3

I can't help but notice that there are no comments on my "Armed Struggle" posts. Personally, I would have no problem with Aborigines defending their children. I would also have no problem with folks here in the states denied necessary health care for their illnesses to take up arms and struggle against the alleged Health Care Industry. People just take so much shit from the state.

People are constantly afraid of issues imagined (like living in certain neighborhoods) but allow those that are REALLY hurting them and their families and communities to continue to do so without hardly a word. How much are we gonna take before we do something about this shit?

Personally, I have spoken out for years. I have put my name and face behind my ideas for years. But really, who am I to call for armed struggle. I've never been in one and I don't like or even own guns. But people won't even hit the streets and non-violently protest or otherwise about, say...the Health Care Industry.

Find out how much oppression a person will take, and that is exactly how much the state will dish out...and then some.

I do like Benjamin Franklin's glance into the future (we share the same birthday). Benny is the only one of the bunch I have any respect for. He was compassionate and open minded and MAN did that guy ever Love to fuck! 75 illegitimate children.

Today, folks will celebrate in this nation what they believe is THEIR independence with rarely or never critically examining what their independence consists of. Independence, like freedom, are words that are usually whipped cream on top of a "moose turd pie."

The original independence of this nation was so that wealthy white ultra elite males wouldn't have to pay taxes to king george. Women were still the property of men. Most blacks were still the property of white men. All of the stolen wealth and ill gotten gain was the property of ultra elite white men. The ONLY people allowed to vote were propertied white males. So this is and always has been a nation of the rich, by the rich, for the rich.

Independence, like freedom, is a lie used to propagate permission of the masses for the ultra elite to continue to commit numerous crimes against peace, humanity, war crimes, genocide, etc., to create more wealth and or protect their vast amounts of wealth. And as Michael Moore points out in his new movie, "Sicko," we "beasts" at the bottom don't even have close to decent health care in this nation. Yet, we still call this free and independent.

Last year, Rhonda and I were in Pine Ridge, South Dakota. We watched all the Lakota folks gathering for the celebration, and it cracked us up. At the same time, there is a joke amongst many Indian folks. It isn't our holiday. This nation slaughtered and continues to oppress Indians. Indians have the best fireworks for sale. Plus, reservation life is TOUGH, so these folks need something to break it up and celebrate, even if it is a holiday that lead to death and destruction of their predecessors.

Yesterday, I encountered a kid parade of 4-9 year olds on bikes. All wearing red, white, and blue, and having flags planted in their bicycle helmets. I was tickled as well as a little saddened, as the nation they are celebrating doesn't really give a shit about those tiny folks.

The Jena Lynchings Have Started

Please read this article about the Jena Six. I have heard about this on the Automatic Preference blog, but hadn't had time to look into exactly what it is. The Jena six are six black youth accused of attempted murder by beating a white racist in Jena, Louisiana. They were repeatedly taunted as well as nooses being hanged from the "white tree" where they sat under. This, according to many of school officials, was a harmless prank. Even the beating of a black youth by whites was a harmless prank, I guess.

The first of the court cases is over and Mychal Bell faces 22 years in prison. The whiteys who beat up the black youth I believe the article said were suspended. That was about it.

Can you say lynching? It never ends, the racist bullshit in this nation. But you probably don't want to feel guilty about this. Hey, how did that NBA draft go? Now there, there is something important.

Armed Struggle 2

In this photo, you see a young Canadian soldier in Oka in 1990 taking up state sanctioned armed struggle so the mayor of Oka can build a golf course over a Mohawk graveyard. You also see the Mohawk warrior engaged in armed struggle against the Canadians in order to protect said cemetery from such blaspheme.

If you go to Youtube and punch in "Oka 1990" you will find a 21 part series about what happened there. In the film, you will see folks whose commute was disturbed by roadblocks created by the Mohawk take up armed struggle against unarmed Indians who were allowed to leave the compound. The Indians were driving down a concrete dry waterway and it was lined on both sides by cops who kept the armed strugglers at bay. They did nothing, however, to stop them from throwing the stones, and thus, the armed action of the road raged citizenry was santctioned by the state via complicity and a baby and an elder were killed and many wounded.



In this photo, you see the state sanctioned armed struggle against the citizens of Fallujah using a weapon known as white phosphorous. An illegal and insidious weapon. What the Americans are struggling for are to forcibly take all of the wealth of Iraq and hand it over to the corporate owners of the U.S. empire. They call this Peace and Freedom.

What Howard is doing to the Aborigines is nothing less than armed struggle. He has sent in troops to protect doctors hired to sexually abuse ALL of the Aborigine children. This will lead to some of these children eventually committing suicide, doing illegal drugs or alcohol to numb their emotional pain until it kills them, or some other form of self destructive behavior. Howard IS killing Aborigine children. However, Howards armed struggle is done in order to create more wealth for those who already have too much wealth and will throw pennies, oppression, cancer and other diseases, other forms of death, etc., upon the Aborigines. This is called, "Fair Trade."

Here's a couple of old sayings here, and I paraphrase:

Find out how much oppression a person will take, and that will be exactly how much the state will deal out.

It is better to die on your feet than to live on your knees.

Again, far be it from me to call out for armed struggle, but how do we stop monsters and their state sanctioned violence against various masses in order to acquire wealth for the ultra elite. I've heard state sanctioned violence given two names, though I'm sure there are more. One I already mentioned: Peace and Freedom. The other is "Democracy."

Just a few things to think about.

Armed Struggle

Dare I suggest it? There is always the possibility of armed struggle.

Of course, armed struggle could lead to many horrible things. Could lead to lots of killing etc., but the Aborigines are already slated for killing. They will be killed by much higher cancer rates should nuclear waste be dumped on their lands. Their suicide rates will increase with this current state sanctioned sex abuse against their children. Howard will UNDOUBTEDLY impose conditions to make the suffering greater amongst the Aborigines, not including the conditions already FORCED upon them by the state.

Indians here have had armed struggles. Oka 1990, Wounded Knee 1973, Gustafson Lake 1995.

But there again, who the hell am I to suggest such a thing since 1) I don't live with the Aborigines nor do I know the facets of their culture. 2) I've never engaged in armed struggle. 3) I've barely fired a gun a few times and don't even own one. So who the fuck am I!

However, I do know that the state under Howard or whatever imperial piece of shit takes his place will continue to murder Aborigines with a kinder gentler hand, and undoubtedly continue their racist and cruel oppression against them.

Their are also direct action methods like road blockades. Again, one has to measure their effectiveness. White culture does not like being inconvenienced. If the regular folks can't get from point A to point B their gonna be pissed. This, however, will not only lead to attention, but often violence. Nothing like pissing a whitey off. Another lesson learned from Oka. The state forced Mohawk evacuees through a gully where they ran a gauntlet of stone throwing white folks who took up arms because they were inconvenienced in their daily commute. Nothing like inconveniencing white folks. Inconvenience white culture and they take up arms immediately and start killing. They got an old man and a baby that day. Wounded a half dozen or so. The folks running this gauntlet were just like white culture likes 'em when it comes to a fight, unarmed and vulnerable. Fair fight? Fuck that shit when it comes to being made late to work or the grocery store.

So, there is a lot to be weighed when considering this method. And, as Derrrick Jensen would tell you, the violence is not supposed to roll up hill. Violence is not supposed to go against state sanctioned violence. When this happens, a greater and more horrific violence is enacted upon the people struggling against the state. The state LOVES using excessive force.

Then, of course, Howard would be held up like a hero, like that genocidal fuck Winston Churchill. Churchill said that he wanted to kill EVERY Irish person. He wanted to kill all the Irish people, and he is STILL considered some sort of hero. Amazing.

The Evilness of Empire

Will the real John Howard please FUCK OFF!

Ridwan asked that I make a comparison of what is happening in Australia to the Aborigines by genocidal John Howard to what has and is happening to indigenous folks here and around the world. That is easy.

As I have grown older, I realized that everything moves in patterns. The methods of the patterns change, but they are consistent. That can be seen throughout personal issues all the way to global and everything in between and all around.

The patterns of empire are easy to be seen. Empire is built by the use of force to steal other peoples resources for the vast wealth of a privileged few. The ultra elite privileged few have acquired their wealth through violence, genocide, manipulation, propaganda, genocide, and many other useful tools.

When empire encounters folks indigenous to an area they wish to exploit, the indigenous folks must be dealt with violently. Usually empire has the excessive force, the means, the military, the hardware, etc., to deal a blow of extreme terror and genocide. Genocide is the preferred method with COMPLETE annihilation being the true thought so the stealing of resources can go unabated. Ex: It was Stormin' Norman Schwarpzkopf's desire to kill every Iraqi within the the borders of that nation:

"We could have completely closed the door and made it a battle of annihilation...literally about to become the battle of Cannae, a battle of annihilation." [from a television interview of NS quoted in "American Holocaust," by David Stannard, pg. 253-4]. Complete annihilation would have made it easier for American corporations to steal the vast wealth within the borders of Iraq. That was done here in the U.S. against indigenous folks, it was completed against the Tasmanians (to my understanding), was done against the Aborigines in Australia, and like in the U.S., they didn't kill us all which poses a problem to empire: How does empire steal the rest of the remaining resources and be PC about it because it isn't a socially acceptable as in the good old days to slaughter the folks brutally and completely like empire would like to do.

For John Howard, the genocidal maniac, to help his wealthy constituents and his corporate owners to get at those remaining resources, he has to remove the Aborigines authority over their resources. This can be done using many methods. In the states, they pitted Indian against Indian. Created illegal legislation to help in the theft of what remains of resources on indigenous lands. They throw money, poisons, and all kinds of diseases at the indigenous folks here to continue to steal resources.

Howard's method of genocide is insidious and effective. Forcing children to be checked for childhood sex abuse under ASSUMED conditions takes away not only tribal autonomy, but personal autonomy. It is an effective method of dehumanizing an Aboriginal child. They are shown that they do not have control over their bodies, the state does. This, like childhood sexual abuse, will create a damage within a child and as an Aboriginal person, knowing they are not human enough to be treated like humans according to John Howard and his constituents and corporate owners.

This can be compared to a more violent method used by the U.S. in Vietnam. I was told by a former army intelligence person from that era how cluster bombs were created. The U.S. government hired to psychologists to find out what colors most attracted children. Turned out to be fluorescent orange and fluorescent green. Little bomblets were created covered with these two colors. The intention of this weapon was not to kill. It was intended to blow the arms and legs off of children who would think they were toys. What this does is it takes men out of the field to transport the child to the hospital. It takes hospital resources to care for the child and keep it alive. When the child gets older, it will be ineffective in the military and most likely a drain on the social system of the nation and using up further resources.
Dehumanizing children and using violence by blowing off their arms and legs. Dehumanizing children and using sexual violence through forced genital checking and damaging their hearts and minds in hopes of making them ineffectual in the struggle for their personal sovereignty and the sovereignty of their people. Same pattern, different methods.

Howard is using the ASSUMPTION of rampant sex abuse as a land grab for the wealthy. Why? Because he believes in and benefits greatly from the EMPIRE that is the Aussie Government with the help of Bush in the U.S. and their corporate owners. It is "profits before people," as George Bush would say. Using the sex abuse ASSUMPTION can be used to DESTROY the sovereignty of the Aborigines. It becomes a land grab.

The consistent pattern of Empire concerning indigenous folks, as stated previously, is: complete annihilation! Where annihilation has failed, dehumanization and oppression. Empire will create laws that benefits its ultra privileged. The empire will create laws that oppress the underprivileged and especially the indigenous because the indigenous have LEGAL precedent over their land and resources. They will dupe the masses because the masses don't like looking at the ugly side of their privilege and enjoy self-imposed stupidity. The empire will use force, preferably without any non-PC killings, and separate the indigenous from their lands. They will create illegal and racist laws that will benefit the privileged classes. They will lie. They will hurt children. They will threaten and often follow through with threats and OFTEN TO THE EXTREME. They will pit Aborigine against Aborigine. And, undoubtedly, they will use this as an excuse to steal Aborigine children which IS an act of genocide. It seems to be mining and nuclear waste dumping interests that are the reasons for separating Aborigines from their land base.

Anyone who knows anything about the state, which is the current form of empire, knows that they really don't care about children. If they did, why did they steal our children? Why did they main the children in Vietnam? Why did they systematically rape our children? Why did they murder our children? Why do they allow the enslavement of children? The proof is in the pudding. They don't care about the children, never have, and never will (until they can figure out a way to sell them OPENLY). That is why I believed from the get go that this was a land grab on behalf of Howard: 1) The Aborigines have land that undoubtedly have resources that Empire can steal and profit off of. 2) The Aborigines have to be separated from that land for a high profit margin. 3) The state has never given a shit about children and NEVER WILL. It doesn't take a mathematics professor to see BULLSHIT when it is happening.

Alleged independence day is coming up in the U.S. Anyone who knows their history knows that it was a fight for the independence of the wealthy to not pay taxes to the king of england and keep ALL of their wealth. Afterall, it was ONLY the propertied adult white males who could vote, initially. ANOTHER very important pattern to keep in mind in dealing with state sanctioned empire: The only people that really count are the ultra elite and their wealth. All actions taken by the state are done in order to protect or create further wealth for the ultra elite. It is a clear and consistent pattern.

Things to contemplate, things to think about, things to bring down and destroy!

Keepin' On

I haven't had a lot of time to read or write this weekend and this morning I've noticed now that I have to get my ass off to work. Looks like there is something getting done here for the Aborigines, I am going to look for a way to try to contact them this afternoon, as well as catch up on all of my reading. I have sent links of the articles to KBOO. Does anyone have any other suggestions of media that might actually print this? I'll try the mainstream locals as well, but they undoubtedly spin it like Howard is just in his position.

Nuclear Waste on Darky Land in Australia

I just found this article about a nuclear waste dump being planned for the Northern Territories on Aboriginal land in Australia. Do you think that Howard's illegal actions might have something to do whit this as well?
