Nagasaki

I almost forgot to mention Nagasaki. For a good history on that event you all should read George Weller's "First Into Nagasaki." George was the first American into the city after the bombs fell. His words, however, were silenced by that horrific piece of shit Douglas McCarthur for political reasons in dealing with the government of Japan.
