Drogheda, 11 Sept 1649

On 20 June 1649, after the suppression of the Leveller mutinies, the House of Commons appointed Oliver Cromwell Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland and commander-in-chief of the army that was to be sent there. Through July and August, Cromwell made meticulous preparations for the expedition. Colonel Jones' victory at Rathmines on 2 August enabled Cromwell to land unopposed in Ireland and to occupy Dublin, where he arrived on 15 August with 12,000 experienced troops and a formidable artillery train. The King's lord lieutenant, the Marquis of Ormond, fell back to the north. He was unable to muster an army strong enough to challenge the English invaders in battle so dispersed his troops to garrison key towns. Cromwell immediately marched against Drogheda, a prosperous town at the mouth of the River Boyne, 30 miles up the coast from Dublin and a key strategic strongpoint for advancing into Ulster.

Ormond appointed the Royalist veteran Sir Arthur Aston governor of Drogheda with a garrison of 2,000 foot and 300 horse. The town was protected by a 20-foot high wall punctuated by twenty-nine guard towers. Aston boasted that "he who could take Drogheda could take Hell," so he felt confident in refusing the summons to surrender when Cromwell arrived before Drogheda on 10 September. The Royalist plan was to play for time, hoping that the Parliamentarian army would eventually become weakened and ineffective through disease and attrition. Cromwell was also aware of this possibility and wasted no time in deploying his siege guns. With a squadron of Parliamentarian warships blockading the harbour, Cromwell's artillery immediately began bombarding the walls of Drogheda, concentrating their fire on the south side near the church of St. Mary's. By the following day the walls were breached. Cromwell ordered an assault, intending to gain St. Mary's church as a foothold into the town. The assault began on the evening of 11 September but did not go according to plan. The breach was too small to allow the Parliamentarian horse to enter and the infantry who succeeded in fighting their way into the town met with fierce resistance. Twice the Parliamentarians were thrown back from the walls with great loss of life. Cromwell himself led a third assault and succeeded in holding the breach until Colonel Ewer came up with reinforcements. As the full force of the Parliamentarian army poured through the breach, the defenders were overwhelmed. The church and surrounding entrenchments were seized and the Royalists made a fighting retreat back to the fortifications at Mill Mount. Cromwell, in a furious passion, ordered that no quarter was to be granted to the defenders of Drogheda. The Parliamentarian army swept through the town, slaughtering officers and soldiers. The Royalist governor Sir Arthur Aston was bludgeoned to death with his own wooden leg, which the soldiers believed to be filled with gold coins. Catholic priests and friars were treated as combatants and killed on sight. Many civilians died in the carnage. A group of defenders who had barricaded themselves in St Peter's church in the north of the town were burned alive when the Parliamentarians set fire to the church. Around 3,500 people died in the storming of Drogheda; many of those who survived were transported to Barbados. Parliamentarian losses were around 150.

Cromwell regarded the massacre at Drogheda as a righteous judgment on the Catholics who had slaughtered the Protestant settlers in the Irish Uprising of 1641. This view was shared by most English and Scottish Protestants. According to the conventions of 17th century warfare, a besieged city that refused a summons to surrender and was then taken by storm could expect no mercy. Despite the massacre of its defenders, Drogheda was not regarded as an atrocity at the time. However, it has lived on in Irish folk memory, making Cromwell's name into one of the most hated in Irish history.

Institutionalized Racism and the Makah Whale Hunt

This nation was founded by wealthy white men for wealthy white men. Only propertied white males could vote. When James Madison was asked about his "We the people," he stated that "We the people" meant "We" the wealthy white male elite. James also referred to those who were not members of the "wealthy white male elite" as "beasts." The declaration of independence and the U.S. constitution are based upon the ideals of "wealthy white male elites" looking out for their own interests. Some were slavers, some were genocidal maniacs, and all of them were sexist and racist.

When one touts the ideals of the founding fathers, as I often hear tossed around nowadays, you are touting a system whose ideals were set in place for the exclusive benefit of wealthy white males.

This has culminated in many struggles for equality which some exist to this day, but equality under the system of wealthy white males.

People do not believe this system to be racist now because many folks of all colors have embraced this system of alleged governance. As Ed Edmo said in a poem, "In the great American melting pot, everything is supposed to melt white." Many believe that this is a sign that this system works. I believe that this is a sign that people want to eat, and in order to eat in this dominator culture that kills anything everything that doesn't bow before it, one has to play along to stay alive.

This system was created by genocide and force. This system is an empire, an empire being a nation that has to steal the resources of other nations to maintain its status quo. To tout those ideals is also to tout the ideals of racism, supremacy, forms of slavery, sexism, elitism, classism, etc. You also beat, raped, tortured, and murdered our children in order to make us, the least of the lesser races conform to your "ideals."

That said, this nation created many treaties between indigenous nations. The Makah have a treaty, which means they are a nation.

Throughout the years through the continued genocide of indigenous peoples (not to forget the other races of folks you all fucked around, but we'll just stick with the Makah since you are all still TOO CHICKENSHIT to spout your racist bullshit here) this nation has illegally and forcefully CRUSHED indigenous nations into subservience to the nation state. We don't get on our knees before the master and start sucking his dick, he'll bend us over and fuck us in the ass.

Some of the ways this great nation formed itself has been through the destruction of indigenous food sources since we wanted to continue to live under our terms and not your colonialist, racist, sexist, genocidal terms. You all (and I do mean you all because all of you racist fucks who spout your shit on the Seattle PI ARE ideologically the same as Dick and George, Suharto, Saddam, Pinochet, etc., which makes you part in parcel as genocidal without the military might, or course) had to slaughter the buffalo, salmon, camas, gardens, etc., which you decimated in order to gain control over the indigenous folks of this nation. Control their food, control the people. You did this! Indians didn't do this. You did!

Thoroughly decimated, our cultures all but destroyed by you, the self-proclaimed master race, or now, the IDEALS of the master race continued and supported by many races, aka American Culture, there is a nation flipping a finger in the face of your dominant culture.

You see, legally, using international, federal, and Indian law, this is still our land. The U.S. constitution states "treaties are the supreme law of the land." When a treaty is broken, conditions return to what they were prior to the signing of the treaty. So, ALL of the U.S. is an occupied territory, legally speaking. So the worst of all the races has to be the race whose land you occupy because if these uppity Red Niggers stand up and try to take something back, that is a direct challenge to your illegal empire, and that can't be accepted.

So, when the Makah challenge your ideals, you all start attacking with your racist bullshit. Why? Because you don't possess the military might to get them to conform to YOUR rules. It's not because you care about whales. You could give a shit about whales.

You see, you don't shout so loudly about the Norwegians whaling. Why aren't you calling them "Norse Niggers" and challenging their manhood and culture like you do the Makah. Because it isn't whales you are concerned about. It is dominance and mastery over a people whose land you occupy who still refuse to live under your ballsack. It has nothing to do with whales. The Japanese you could call "Nip Niggers" but you don't. You say absolutely nothing about the indigenous Russians. You don't say anything about the Inuit, but they aren't on the mainland. I don't have time to read all of these but here is the jist of my argument:

You all don't care about whales (those of you who are anti-Makah). You never have, and you never will. Otherwise you'd scream just as passionately about industrial trawlers, military and industrial pollutants in the ocean, etc. This environmental damage does more to kill whales than the Makah. But this is part of YOUR civilization. Your civilization being the end all and be all of humanity, right. The Makah whaling, ulike our religions, is not something you can steal from us indigenous folks, it's not something you, those who consider themselves the end all and be all of humanity, can make a profit off of. Thus, what the Makah are doing is challenging your DOMINANCE over them as an indgenous group that you, Americans, believe you have the RIGHT to dominate. Of course you don't have to answer for the crimes of genocide against their people. You have so many excuses not to do that, especially the one where you consider yourselves SUPERIOR (racist) against whole groups of people. You are "civilized" and we indigenous folks are not. Since an indigenous group of folks are reclaiming a piece of who they are, a piece you cannot dominate, it upsets you.

That means you are ideaolgically dictators, but you just don't have the military might that I KNOW you would use if you could. You are dictators in ideaology, no different that Dick, George, Condeleeza, Suharto, Pinochet, Adolf, Columbus, etc. You just don't have the military force that you would use if you did. The alleged "scuttling" of a Norwegian whaler, the only place I can find any information on this is on the Sea Shepherd website. I can't triangulate it. There are no other resources I can find on this. Can someone please point out to me a source that talks of this without pointing me in the direction of Paul Watson?

How did you gain such authority to dictate what is and isn't right, who does and doesn't get to live?

How did you gain the authority, such as you, David, to tell others how they get to enact their traditions without ever dealing with the genocidal destruction imposed by you and your folks (in the case of non-Indians) that continues to this day (auto genocide in the case of Indians)?

How do you measure which species get to live and die, and if humans get to die, why aren't you the first ones to be jumping off of bridges to prove the conviction behind your allegations? See, like in the case with Iranians, and currently with Iraqis, there isn't much care about those folks being slaughtered by the millions as say, about a whale being LEGALLY taken. So you folks obviously don't give a shit about human life...BUT WAIT...that is non-american life. Those are other races. They aren't your friends. They aren't your family. If you are such a "speciesist" as you allege, then why aren't you out in the streets murdering all the humans that are part of the consumer culture, of which you and I are as well, and then killing yourself? Why is it that other races have to die, but not you all here?

Here's One that'll Get Comments

The Makah have harpooned and shot a whale yesterday.

According to the articles I've read (here's a link to one), the story goes something like this:

The Makah found out there was a whale entrapped in some buoys about a mile outside of Neah Bay. Whalers asked the elders for permission to get the entrapped whale and received it. Five folks went out (three of the original whalers), harpooned and shot the whale. Before they could finish the creature off, the Coast Guard stopped and detained the whalers and later returned them to their folks. They are probably gonna be charged with something...AND THE WHALE GETS TO GO TO WASTE! Americans. So wasteful! Truly, the Makah have EVERY legal right to do this. It's part of their treaty, and to arrest and try these folks would be a violation of article 6, section 2 of that worthless piece of paper known as the U.S. constitution.

I'm sure as the ultra holy vegan whale Lovers awaken, they will be talking hard about how evil this darky race of Makah's are. And still, these folks who claim to be "speciesist" but are really RACIST will be talking of even killing Makah because, like posted previously, they think of themselves as gods ABOVE gods by simple act of dietary choice. Some, like the highly praised attempted murderer, Josh Harper (he was trying to kill darkies so that doesn't really count as murder), will probably even head up to that area and try to off a couple of darkies. But that's OK, because they are really speciesist.

Undoubtedly that god above gods, Paul Watson, will be spitting out racist drivel as well.

And the whale will be allowed to rot, or thrown into the trash.

Pentagon "Three-Day Blitz" Plan for Iran

The Pentagon has drawn up plans for massive airstrikes against 1,200 targets in Iran, designed to annihilate the Iranians' military capability in three days, according to a national security expert.

Alexis Debat, director of terrorism and national security at the Nixon Center, said last week that US military planners were not preparing for "pinprick strikes" against Iran's nuclear facilities. "They're about taking out the entire Iranian military," he said.

Debat was speaking at a meeting organised by The National Interest, a conservative foreign policy journal. He told The Sunday Times that the US military had concluded: "Whether you go for pinprick strikes or all-out military action, the reaction from the Iranians will be the same." It was, he added, a "very legitimate strategic calculus".

President George Bush intensified the rhetoric against Iran last week, accusing Tehran of putting the Middle East "under the shadow of a nuclear holocaust". He warned that the US and its allies would confront Iran "before it is too late".

As much as people would love to live in denial about the genocidal attack about to happen in Iran by the Genocidal Duo, Dick and George, we just can't. It has been my opinion when I first started hearing Dick and George wanting to slaughter Iranians with impunity that George wants to be the first king to use a nuke since another gencoidal fuck, Harry Truman did. He wants a legacy of mass slaughter and imperialism that will PALE in comparison to all the other historical genocidal kings of the past or present. He wants something that will NEVER be surpassed. He's gonna get it.

My words are not predictions. My words are following the clear and consistent pattern of genocidal fucks, what they do, and why they do it. I am following the patterns of empire, the patterns of this genocidal administration, and the patterns of the Genocidal Duo. They have yet to fail.

Example: George recently went on a photo op in Baghdad. There has been insinuation of a troop withdrawal. When George does these types of things, his ACTIONS are always the opposite. THERE WILL BE NO TROOP WITHDRAWAL IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM AS LONG AS KING GEORGE IS IN POWER! This was probably done for several reasons. Calm the populace for what is turning into an unpopular war. Calm the troops and give them hope. Buying time in order to reposition the troops for a ground attack on Iran because they aren't going to want that bombing to be an end all and be all. They can't steal Iran's resources with bombs. They can only steal them with an occupation.

I could be wrong. I hope I'm wrong. But if I was a strategist, I would definitely believe this to be the most likely outcome following the consistent patterns of this administration.

My friend Jim Craven and I used this same analysis in 2000 when George stole the election. We predicted, using the consistent patterns of the state and other organizations that, in 2004 it would be George Bush vs. John Kerry. Bonesman vs. Bonesman. We predicted that Kerry would waffle. Why? Because that would be his job as fellow Bonesman to his cousin George. Kerry also wanted to keep George in power, though not coming forth and admitting as such.

B-52 Mistakenly Flies with Nukes Aboard

A B-52 bomber mistakenly loaded with five nuclear warheads flew from Minot Air Force Base, N.D, to Barksdale Air Force Base, La., on Aug. 30, resulting in an Air Force-wide investigation, according to three officers who asked not to be identified because they were not authorized to discuss the incident.

The B-52 was loaded with Advanced Cruise Missiles, part of a Defense Department effort to decommission 400 of the ACMs. But the nuclear warheads should have been removed at Minot before being transported to Barksdale, the officers said. The missiles were mounted onto the pylons of the bomber’s wings.

Advanced Cruise Missiles carry a W80-1 warhead with a yield of 5 to 150 kilotons and are specifically designed for delivery by B-52 strategic bombers.

B-52's are sick fucking monsters. They are good for nothing but committing mass death. George, both Georges, love using these demons. Smart bombs my ass. These monsters are designed to slaughter large populations quickly. These will be used in the mass slaughter of Iranians because George loves using these weapons. I ask that you not live in denial about this. Because if you pretend this is not going to happen, it will just give strength to the Genocidal duo in getting the job done, as it were. You won't do anything because you don't believe it will happen. How can something so inconceivable be allowed to happen. Well, the same way the war happened in Iraq. No matter how much Saddam came into compliance with U.S. demands, the "lies" had it, and millions of Iraqi's have since perished and are displaced and living under horrific conditions. That, of course, was just as inconceivable as a war with Iran. Don't live in denial about it or you won't do anything about it. Do something about it...DAMN YOU! DO SOMETHING THE FUCK ABOUT IT!

They don't make plans like the one above and do nothing to enact them. Something may happen to where they get aborted, but they will DEFINITELY take action. Planning this shit costs money and in a capitalist empire, they'll want a return on their investment. THINK! DAMN YOU! THEN DO!

Last night I had dreams that I was watching thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands of people dying. I couldn't really see them, but I was bearing witness in some sort of odd surrealism as dreams can sometimes be. I would wake up and fall asleep and have the same dream many times over of thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands of people dying before my eyes. I, oddly...sadly...was safe.

And then, driving around today, I heard the following headline in Democracy Now being broadcast from KBOO:

Talk about a U.S. attack on Iran appears to be growing louder in Washington. There are reports that Vice President Dick Cheney's office has issued instructions to conservative think tanks to start a drumbeat for attacking Iran. On Monday the American Enterprise Institute is hosting two events related to Iran. Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich is giving a speech on how the war on terrorism should be viewed as a "a world war that pits civilization against terrorists and their state sponsors who wish to impose a new dark age." Later in the day former CIA director Jim Woolsey and others will meet to discuss a new book by longtime Iran hawk Michael Leeden titled "The Iranian Time Bomb: The Mullah Zealots" Quest for Destruction." The Heritage Foundation recently hosted an interagency Bush administration war game attempting to anticipate Iranian responses to a U.S. bombing campaign. Meanwhile the Sunday Times of London has reported the Pentagon has drawn up plans for massive air strikes against twelve hundred targets in Iran, designed to annihilate the Iranians' military capability in three days. The main source of the article was an official at another conservative Washington think tank – the Nixon Center.

I have tried for at least the last 12 years to try and get folks to take action, Revolution, if you will, and wrest this government from the useless ultra elite fucks who have proclaimed their human selves the status of gods and deciding who and what gets to live and die. Gods

According to Paul Watson of the Sea Shepherd Society, someone has "scuttled" a Norwegian whaler. I learned this thing from a friend of mine called, "triangulation." That means in order to understand a story, you get several perspective from different sources. Not so oddly, all the other sources I could find besides on the Sea Shepherd website GOT the story from the Sea Shepherd website.

A few years back, a couple of the crew (whom you never hear from, you only hear Paul Watson speak. What the fuck is up with that? Media manipulation?) of the Sea Shepherd got lost on the fog in a dinghy on the ocean out to harass I believe a Japanese whaler. It was icy fog, if I remember the story correctly. The whaler, according to other news sources other than Paul Watson, helped in searching for the two lost crew members, found them, and returned them safely home to their keeper, the great god, Paul Watson.

Paul's story goes something like this. The two crew members successfully found the whaling ship in the icy fog. The climbed aboard the ship, waved their manly sized penis' around at the crew who were so terrified at the size of their manly members that they stayed below deck. After the crew members manly penis' got too cold, they stuffed them back into their wet suits, got back in their dinghy, and got successfully back to the Sea Shepherd boat.

Paul is a megalomaniac. If you've heard this useless human speak, you will realize that ALL of his stories are not about whales, they are stories that aggrandize the great Paul Watson. His stories about being a medic at Wounded Knee in '73 have been proven to be lies. The name he alleges to have received, "Greywolf Clearwater," too, has been proven to be a lie. The man is not known for telling the truth, but he is known for aggrandizing himself. He doesn't really give a shit about the whales, unless they can provide some sort of metaphorical photo op to show the greatness of the great...Paul Watson.

I am currently reading the book, "Ishmael" by Daniel Quinn.

In this book, the main character is getting educated by a gorilla. The gorilla tells the main character that, mythologically speaking, man ate from the tree of knowledge, whose fruit gave the gods the knowledge of life and death. Man, the taker type men, give themselves the power of "gods." They give themselves the power to say who lives and dies.

Paul Watson says, humans deserve to die, whales deserve to live. He has given himself the power of the gods, and many folks worship this useless human being like he is a god, and he eats it up with his megalomaniacal spoon. Good work if useless pieces of shit can find it.

But Paul doesn't talk about global warming, lack of ocean style whale chow and starving whales being washed up on shores all over the world. He doesn't talk about environmental pollutions that they whales are forced to live in. He does ally with right wing republican anti-environmental politicians (Slade Gorton and Jack Metcalf) in his racist campaign against the Makah.

Vegans...GODDAMN! I hate you fucking vegans. Vegans, too, have given themselves the power of the gods. By simple act of diet, like eating the fruit from the tree of knowledge, they get to decide who lives and who dies. This also feeds into their hardcore institutional racism, but that form of racism is OK, because, you fucking worthless vegan fucks have given yourself the power of life and death. I hate you fucking vegans. You say you are speciesist. FUCK YOU! You're just a buncha skinny fuckin' racist pieces of shit who don't eat meat or any animal products fuck you very much. Sales Friendly...

Today while making deliveries between 5 and 6am at Bridgeport Plaza in Lake Oswego, I saw some news folks out in the middle of the parking lot for news channel 8 (there's an oxymoron for ya). There ain't nothin' newsworthy in the middle of a mini-mall parking lot at 5am. So, I drove over there after making my deliveries and asked what they were doing considering there wasn't anything newsworthy in a parking lot at this time of morning. They were doing a story on the "smart car."

"Smart Car? Is that like a Smart Bomb?"

"Yeah.." one of them said, kinda confused.

I asked about taking pictures, and I did. If you don't see them on this post yet, you will soon.

I just went to the KGW website and found the story with some obnoxious dude being the reporter. I didn't meet the obnoxious dude, just the lady selling the thing and some other dude. The fucking story is 10 minutes 45 seconds long.

THIS ISN'T NEWS! IT'S FREE ADVERTISING!

Let me tell you what I know about this type of news. It isn't. It is advertising.

I believe it was Normon Solomon that I learned this from: The local news is in the pockets of the local car dealerships. News is sponsored mostly by car dealerships, and if they want to keep those advertising dollars coming in, they have to give the dealerships what is called "a sales friendly news environment." Any accidental news that may get in between the advertising is just filler between ads. The rest is free advertising disguised as news.

I quit watching alleged news when I saw a 5 minute plus in depth report on hammers. That was about 10 years ago.

No impending war with Iran. No people dying because of alleged health insurance. No environmental damages from local polluters. No rampant spousal abuse. No corruption in government. Ain't nunna that shit happening. Just go buy a useless fucking car after your done watching this useless shit disguised as news.

Cold, Soulless Eyes

Victims of the Conquistadors used to comment most on the cold, soulless eyes of their genocidal pursuers. I couldn't quite find the photo I was looking for of "Genocidal" Norman Schwarzkopf, but this one is close. The one I was looking for was an interview with him on September 13, 2001. His eyes said he was ready to murder millions and millions of people for the twin towers. (note: You all did know that 6 of the alleged terrorists were found still alive in Saudi Arabia, right?). And of course, you all know how I Love mentioning that he wanted to murder every Iraqi within the borders of Iraq.

Aboriginal assets to be seized, then rented back for profit

Darwin insider Henri Ivrey writes:

In moves seemingly impossible to reconcile with the protection of Aboriginal children on remote towns and communities in the Northern Territory, a document has come into the hands of Crikey that presages a federal government takeover of millions of dollars worth of assets owned by Aboriginal organisations.

At least Ned Kelly stole from the rich. Mal Brough is taking from the poor to establish a government-controlled property trust, from which he will then rent back to the dispossessed.

Organisational assets above the value of $400,000 are to be compulsorily acquired by Indigenous Business Australia (IBA) and transferred to a new entity, the Indigenous Economic Development Trust (IEDT), and then rented back at commercial rates to the same organisations from which the asset has been taken from.

In some cases this will make those organisations commercially unviable, leading to financial collapse and loss of Aboriginal jobs. Every reason for Aboriginal organisations for acquiring property as part of engaging with capitalism has been thrown out in favour of a centrally controlled government bureaucracy.

This is not about Aboriginal land in places like Arnhem Land: assets will be compulsorily stripped from Aboriginal organisations owning land and property up and down the Stuart Highway—Darwin, Katherine, Tennant Creek and Alice Springs—no matter how well run, no matter what the level of services provided, no matter what those assets are being used for.

The early targets appear to be urban-based Community Development Employment Programs (CDEP). In a letter to these CDEP projects in towns and cities up the Stuart Highway, IBA’s "national manager business funding", Kim McIlveen is keen to introduce "new products and services that your CDEP organisation might qualify for".

One of these "new products" is "establishing an Indigenous Economic Development Trust, through which assets will be leased to Aboriginal businesses".

And he is cheerfully offering a helping hand.

"IBA staff and contracted service providers will be visiting each CDEP over the next few months to provide more information and invite you to discuss your business needs."

The sheer effrontery of it is extraordinary. The Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR), in at least one instance, will be "resuming" an asset from an Aboriginal business which is being offered back for commercial rental to the very Aboriginal business from which it was compulsorily taken.

In many cases the assets have been built up over many years—in some cases decades. Some are jointly-owned assets. Some are leased to groups such as health services; some provide low cost housing. Some are funded through a combination of commercial income, commercial bank loans, soft government loans and government grants.

The latter factor seems to be the key. Any Aboriginal organisation that directly or indirectly received federal government assistance to acquire or pay off an asset—even in small part—now faces compulsory seizure of the entire asset.

Potentially, property and other commercial assets that are earning an income, and employing Aboriginal people, will be summarily resumed by a federal bureaucracy. At least one CDEP seems destined to relinquish the property it purchased, then lease it back from the IEDT.

And the amount of this Stuart Highway robbery could run into many millions of dollars if this principle is extended. In Darwin assets owned by Larrakia Nation and its business arm, along with the Aboriginal Development Foundation and Danila Dilba Health Service, face compulsory asset removal.

In Katherine the Jawoyn Association faces property losses as well as potential loss of assets in the tourist industry in the millions. Tennant Creek’s Julalikari Council owns low cost housing valued at more than $2 million as well as other properties.

In Alice Springs properties potentially being seized are owned by the Institute for Aboriginal Development, Tangentyere Council, Arrernte Council and Health Congress. Assets in all of these towns owned by the Northern and Central land councils could also face resumption by the feds.

John Howard visited the Aboriginal town of Ntaria (Hermannsburg) Tuesday this week.

"We have a simple aim," he told the locals, "and that is whilst respecting a special place of Indigenous people in the history and the life of this country, their future can only be as part of the mainstream of the Australian community.

"But unless they can get a share of the bounty of this great and prosperous country, their future will be bleak."

One can only assume the "special place of Indigenous people in the history and the life of this country" is something to do with continuously re-enacting those bits where land and property are stolen from them. Hard to work out where the "share of the bounty" comes in.

Iran

Why doesn't anyone want to talk about Iran?

Genocidal Dick and George have been planning on slaughtering Iranians and stealing their resources for years. How do I know this?

The U.S. military, under "Genocidal" Norman Schwarpzkopf's command, performed 7 military exercises for an invasion of Iraq starting in 1987 (The Fire This Time: U.S. War Crimes in the Gulf, by Ramsey Clark) prior to the invasion in 1990. Four of these exercises included an Iraq invasion of Kuwait. Norman, for those of you who are unaware, wanted to kill every human being within the borders of Iraq, but was pulled from the field before he could complete his genocidal mission. Americans will do ANYTHING to feed their greed.

Now, Dick and George are going to slaughter Iranians. And they will with or without the peoples support. Good chance the next election will be abolished and Dick and George will declare themselves kings of the world.

Many Iranians will be born between now and then, and I will be a grandpa soon as Eli, Rhonda's son, and his girlfriend Suzette will be having a baby boy. He is being born in a very crazy time as the world will change rapidly soon. Folks are already having dreams about this baby boy.

And still, all those little Iranian babies and at least 100,000 Iranian men, women, children, and elders, already living, will soon be murdered ruthlessly by the Dick and George. "Kill them all, little and big...nits make lice." Methodist Minister, Colonel John M. Chivington slaughter Cheynnes at Sand Creek in 1864. Not a whole lot has changed.

Empire

Empire, as we all know, is created by the destruction of peoples, especially indigenous peoples, by a colonizing force that is there to steal the resources to continue to feed and build their empire. That is what the United States IS. In order to create this horrible monstrosity and maintain its FORCE, it has to continue to seek out the resources of other nations in order to support itself. It does this through genocidal wars which they obviously can no longer win (see Iraq). They do this through complicity in many forms of genocide around the world. They poison many parts of the earth. The use control via the enacting of fear against other nations in order to maintain the current status quo. There are many horrific tools in their tool box that they use and will continue to use. It's fucking insane.

No one on this blog is talking about the war with Iran. There WILL BE a war with Iran. I showed photographs of some of the people Dick and George will murder to steal the wealth from the Iranian nation. No one has said a thing, no one will say a thing, no one will do a thing. That is why I look at the faces in those photographs and I see the faces of the dead. They are already dead. Like Indians. They will become just like the Indians.

I pray the empire will collapse before this happens, but am pretty much sure that this genocidal effort will bring about the collapse instead of the collapse happening prior and preventing the genocide of the Iranians via Dick and George. I can't stop this. I can't enocurage the right or wrong folks to stop this. It will happen, and I am sickened and sad and work hard on not going insane. I not only feel useless, I am powerfully aware of the fact that I am, indeed, useless in stopping this or anything empire sets its genocidal sights on doing. It is so hard not to go insane.

One of the few things I do to prevent me from going insane is write. Another is I have started taking photographs.

Photography is interesting to me. My memory has been going lately. I believe it is because of my work schedule and never getting enough sleep. Oh well! Ain't like folks are trying to drop bombs on my head or raping and killing my folks...at the moment.

Since my memory is not as good as it used to be, I find photography interesting. It extends the memory of a certain event, or the existence of an object. The photos of the Iranians previously posted will extend the memory of the existence of these people even though Dick and George will be murdering them soon. We all will know they did indeed exist and have life with them, at least for a brief moment of history.

As permanent as photography seems to be, I know that it is indeed impermanent. It is like the photos and markers of history on the walls of the folks in the 9th Ward in Louisiana. The U.S. is attempting to erase their memories in order to steal what those folks had, their land. I understand that even though a photograph seems to make a memory permanent, the memory itself will always be permanent, the marker, the photograph, will not. My memory being slow these days, I enjoy extending this memory and offering it to other folks. Things you don't think of when driving by in your car at 55 or watching television. Things you just don't think of during your work day when you are simply wishing to go home and have your day over with. It is something you may not see otherwise. It may be something you consider insignificant, but to me...it's magical. It is a different perspective on seeing the world. Combine a photo with a few words, and you don't just show a moment in time at somewhere in time, but you create an idea.

I am aware that the technology that allows me to share these things with you has been created by empire, by stealing the resources of other folks so I can write to you on this blog and take photos for you to share. Sometimes, this knowledge is a little overwhelming, but I refuse to let it stop me from doing something. I refuse to let it stop me from planting seeds in your hearts and minds that this shit simply has just got to stop and each and everyone of you has to do what they can to stop it.

Oddly, I am also very greatful and happy to be alive in these times, alive at the end of one of the most horrific empires EVER. It is great to get to know people I would not have had the opportunity otherwise. There are many fantastic and wonderful folks in this world. There is much Beauty in this crazy and insane world.
