I Don't Wanna Throw Stones, I Just Wanna Pass Them

Yesterday at CNA class, I started feeling sick. I had a lot of pain coming from my abdomen, mostly my right side. I thought maybe I was constipated, having never had that problem. I got cold sweats. I couldn't hold my head up or keep my eyes open because of the pain I was in. I wound up vomitting. I had to leave two hours into the class so now I have six hours to make up on the 29th.

Although I had a bm earlier, I went and got a laxative thinking that was my problem. At home, the pain was so severe and I was thinking of the people I knew who had been constipated and they weren't having thoughts of wishing someone would kill them from the pain they were in. I couldn't get myself under the blankets without a lot of effort, so I figured it was a good idea to get myself to the hospital.

I drive myself there OK, and the pain starts to releive itself. I think maybe I'll go home, but this voice inside me tells me I should get it checked out anyway.

Inside the emergency room the pain comes and goes. They have me pee in a cup, and it is dark brown. They do a CT on me, and I have, thankfully, only 1 kidney stone. The doctor told me that most folks who come in with a kidney stone usually have about a dozen behind it waiting in line.

I come home to deal with tribal insurance...I don't have any. I live out of their service area. Thankfully, Shusli had me put on her insurance so we won't be in total financial free fall now. So, not only am I attempting to pass a stone (possible future severe pain a coming), I'm wanting to throw a couple as well.

Basically, what me and my little friend has caused us is $1000 to $1500 damage out of our pocket. We were living right on the edge and would be for a couple of months, this is probably gonna knock us off on the tough side of the fence.

I have to somehow get active in health care. I know people lose their houses because of this.

The good news, however, is that one man and his fucked up corporation are getting $30,000,000,000 bailout, Alan Schwartz of Bear Stearns, using OUR TAX DOLLARS. Oh yeah! All that money could go to do things like giving millions of poor Americans health care. But, since many members of Congress have invested in Bear Stearns, I guess it really serves the best interests of the U.S.'s ultra privileged to give that money to the company they are losing money in.

I think I just threw another stone.
