like laundry
on a teenagers floor.
I connect refrigerator poetry
and draw maps across the universe.
Photographs of Nebulae
Giving Birth to Planets
to fill galaxies with stars.
And each star
carries words
in a bent cedar wood box
with drawings of frogs
on folded pieces of paper.
Universes, Nebulae, Galaxies, Worlds, Planets
habitable and uninhabitable
pour from the ballpoint
of a cheap, plastic
Holiday Inn pen
and onto white pages
with horizontal black lines
drawn like asphalt
roadmaps
across a valley floor
where frogs cross
on rain filled afternoons
to find stories in other parts
of their world.
