Why Do Americans Hate Peace and the Troops So Much?

Everyday, I am more amazed at how amazing some Americans are and at how excessively stupid most have allowed themselves to become.

Click on the photo to be sent to an article on Common Dreams about a group of high school students at Cocoa Beach Florida that have started a Peace T-Shirt Day. That was all it started out to be, and turned into a major political issue within the school involving students who love war and the administration as well.

Some of the students have started wearing confederate flag t-shirts and claiming that it isn't racist but in support of the troops. What about the black troops? Do they think wearing a confederate flag is in their support? Really? Indians? Mexicans? Cubans? Asians? Does the confederate flag means they support those folks as well? Do they believe that if a black soldier came to their school would he feel supported by their wearing of a t-shirt with a confederate flag on it? I believe the most useful word here would be...STUPID!

I like these peace kids. I believe they are learning a whole lot about peace, politics, life, racism, etc., by a simple act they thought would have a simple message. It is turning into quite the complex issue.

Some folks are even wearing Support the Troops shirts. What a buncha bullshit. Simple solutions for complex problems. I SERIOUSLY DOUBT those folks wearing support the troops shirts actually do.

You see, just a few days after his participation in the razing of Fallujah, James Blake Miller was caught with his loaded weapon in his mouth just about to pull the trigger. What James has is commonly known as PTSD. Back here in the states, his PTSD has not only caused him continual suffering, but has also destroyed his marriage. The U.S. government does little or nothing to help this man whose suffering they caused via this ILLEGAL war and occupation in Iraq, which, by the way, is nothing new. And, if you look throughout history, you will find out that the U.S. government has treated most soldiers called to do their bidding in war like, well...SHIT! It doesn't take much research to understand this FACT!

So, when assholes, I mean folks wear t-shirts and bumper stickers saying "support the troops," they are a bunch of fucking liars. I never see those folks out in front of city hall or capital buildings screaming at the shoddy treatment of our soldiers by the U.S. government. I never hear them screaming about getting these folks good mental health care for their PTSD. I never hear them screaming about the offensiveness of the fact that many soldiers coming back with missing arms and legs have to PAY FOR THEIR OWN FUCKING HEALTH CARE! I never hear "support the troops" assholes screaming about soldiers who've been wounded having to pay back their sign up bonus to the U.S. government because they didn't complete their duty because they were discharged because they got wounded in battle. So when folks tell me they support the troops or I see those bumper stickers, I know those folks are a buncha fuckin' liars who care NOTHING about the troops, really. They just enjoy THEIR simple solution to quite a complex problem. In fact, I think it is an easy argument to make, even before those Cocoa Beach students started letting it be known they "support the troops," as it were, actually support the troops more than any of those reactionary fucking idiots that share their school and wear bullshit like confederate flag t-shirts in "honor of the [white only?] troops."

Let's not forget what we have asked our soldiers to do and why they are getting fucked up and why saying you support the troops is a complete fucking lie in my opinion. Any combat soldier will tell you that when they are in a firefight, they could give a fuck about american ideals of alleged peace, freedom, and democracy. They only care about getting out of their alive and keeping their buddies alive. They do not carry any higher ideals at those points.

And what of the families? Why is it OK to kill other peoples children, other peoples parents, other peoples grand parents, other peoples brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, etc., as shown in these photos, but it is not OK to do it to americans?

The U.S. and many of its citizens are like the bully with the only ball. If you don't play by their rules, which state the bully wins and everyone else loses, then you don't get to play at all.

What I hate about America is that a majority of its folks are a buncha fuckin' idiots with nothin' more than simple solutions for complex problems which they pass off as THE SOLUTION. In actuality, most of those folks have NO fucking idea what the fuck they are talking about. NOR do they have ANY desire to learn a fucking thing because, like most of these types of americans, they are down right PROUD of the fact that they ARE STUPID!

So tell me, alleged support the troop assholes, why is it OK to murder Iraqi children and not U.S. children? How would you react if a nation state came here and, say, did this to one or more of your children? How do you think those who believed the lies of their nation and enacted these crimes would feel? Do you think that this is OK? Are you capable of learning beyond what you've accepted and are you capable of bringing about some sort of change where, when assholes like you TURN YOUR BACKS ON THESE CRIMES AND YOUR BACKS ON THE TROOPS YOU ALLEGE TO SUPPORT, these things ARE ALLOWED TO HAPPEN BECAUSE THE MASSES ARE AS STUPID AS YOU FUCKIN' ARE?
