Volksfront/Hammerskins

I was hoping to publish a photo gleaned from Portland Indy Media, but my photo download won't work, so I will publish the link to them here.

I don't really know why, but these folks don't concern me all that much. Click the link and look at the photos. These guys look like your everyday white guys I see hanging out all over the place. I think the only REAL difference between these guys and the other white guys walking down the street is that these guys are more honest about their racism and sexism. These are the guys who will walk up to you (at least in groups) and scream "white pride" at you and probably follow it with some racial epithets. The other white guys will walk up to you and say things like: "Sorry about the genocide, but just get over it."

One thing I think is funny is that many of these guys have Irish and or Scottish ancestry. My understanding is that the Irish and the Scots (especially the Irish, as my understanding goes) are "the niggers of Europe," as it was put to me.

So, anyway, the Hammerskin group of racists are coming to town to hang with the Volksfront group of racists and celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Hammerskins founding with what is called the Hammerfest in some undisclosed location.

Then there are the everyday white or white-identified folks walking down the street ready to tell Shusli and I to "JUST GET OVER IT!"
